School & Educational Visits
Skyward Airlines is proud to open our doors to Kenya’s young people. Whether it is a first look at an aircraft or a conversation about careers in aviation, we want every visit to be safe, enjoyable and worthwhile. To make that possible, we follow a simple process for all school and college visits.
Who can apply
Primary and secondary schools, colleges, universities and youth organizations.
School & Educational Visits
How it works
- Send your request at least 15 working days before your preferred date.
- We review it against our flight schedules, staffing and airport access requirements.
- We confirm in writing. Please do not finalize transport or other arrangements until you have our written confirmation.
- Visit day. Our team will welcome your group and guide the programme.
What to include in your request
- Name of school or institution
- Proposed date, and a back-up date if possible
- Number of students and their age range
- Names of accompanying teachers & their ID copies
- Expected visit duration
- What you would like the students to learn
What to include in your request
- Dates. Visits depend on our flight operations and airport schedules. If your date is not possible, we will suggest another.
- Group size. Please agree the number of visitors with us in advance. If your numbers change, let us know so we can reconfirm.
- Programme. We prepare the programme, including the activities and time available, to give every group a safe and well-organized experience.
- Safety and security. We operate from an active airport, so all visitors must follow airport and airline access rules. We will tell you what identification and visitor details we need ahead of the visit. Teachers must stay with their students at all times.
- Photos and media. Please seek our approval before taking photographs or video, conducting interviews, or sharing content that features Skyward Airlines or our branding.
- Costs. Airport Access Permits, Transport, refreshments and insurance are the responsibility of the visiting institution unless we confirm otherwise in writing.
- Changes and cancellations. If anything changes, tell us as early as you can. We will confirm any adjustments in writing.
